City Council April 13, 2010 - Mauro Ramos
I am speaking on behalf of the council elected by the coalition PD - IDV, which also did some independent, including myself.
are with me in this group, Professor Diego Errico and the young student in law Alexander Travaini.
Even on their behalf, as well as all the candidates and the candidates who presented themselves with us, I would like to thank warmly aronesi who have placed their trust in us and in the proposed renewal of our list
We are here in the pews, in the role and with the prerogatives of the minority, with the intent to contribute, with stronger commitment and the maximum of our ability, the administration of Arona.
We have many hopes. I will mention only two. We would like to contribute to two priority activities. One of a substance and form.
The first is to allow our city to turn the page than in the past with a leap and return to a phase of growth, development, sustainable development and progress, much needed, positive effects on incomes and employment. To this end
Arona must take ownership of its resources in lakes, rocky, hill
and active exploitation as they do in every other city that has similar privileges geographical location, its beauty and environment.
and to envisage the goal of the Expo '2015. We
Mr Mayor and his staff the most outspoken wishes to do the necessary work to it with efficiency, timeliness and results.
Incidentally, I note that on these issues in terms of program, if you compare all the policy proposals submitted to the voters, the similarities are more numerous among those on our list and that of the majority list.
We hope sincerely to see its realization.
We enjoyed the first, quick action by Mr Mayor and his junta. For example, a waiver of the privilege all'impopolare reserved and free parking inside the building to the assessors, a privilege that may have not fully perceive the administration went to the issue of parking as it lives most of us ordinary citizens . So
as another measure that has helped reduce costs of management and top management at city hall.
hope that this commendable effort to make available more resources will soon be sent also to increase attention to social needs, the difficult conditions of families and individuals, which is exacerbating the general economic situation in our city.
We will be there and we will do our part.
I want to remind you of another place, no less radical.
I defined a turning point in shape, but in this case the form is substance.
come from a long period of litigation, the heated and sometimes insults. The
aronesi, between us and them, surely deserve better. The board is almost totally renewed. The responsibility is now in the hands of each of us.
tone down and get up ideas, tone down and get up the facts.
We will be there and we will do our part.
