Friday March 4 at the 2011 fair will be held on ECOCASA workshop tools for tracking greenhouse gas emissions organized by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia in the frame of the European project LIFE LAKS (Local Accountability for Kyoto goals) which is a partner with three other cities (Padova, Girona and Bydgoszcz) and ARPA Emilia Romagna. The goal is to provide the other Italian cities and European instruments to monitor greenhouse gas emissions (especially CO2), to assess the impact on the environment and, therefore, take corrective action reporting the results. The objective of the workshop is to familiarize with the emission inventory constructed under the LIFE project, which automatically converts the input data on energy consumption in a report on global warming emissions.
