Arona è evidentemente una realtà che, per la sua stessa posizione e per le sue peculiarità, esercita una forte attrattiva di carattere turistico, commerciale e ricreativo, in cui l’offerta produttiva ed economica necessita di choices that preserve and enhance the environment and territory. SOSTENIBILITA’ ECONOMICA

Riuscire a trovare una soluzione praticabile in breve tempo per rendere fruibile nei mesi estivi la Rocca e il suo parco sarà un impegno prioritario per la prossima amministrazione comunale.
4) L’area dello shopping, della ristorazione e “dell’intrattenimento ” si snoda quasi esclusivamente sull’asse Stazione FS/P.zza del Popolo. Una politica amministrativa attenta allo sviluppo economico del territorio comunale, deve creare le condizioni per cercare di allargare ed estendere questa area “pregiata” anche nelle vie limitrofe, in particolare nel centro storico, attraverso interventi di miglioramento del contesto e dell’arredo urbano (pavimentazione, illuminazione etc.) al fine di favorire investimenti per la ristrutturazione dei vecchi stabili e per l’apertura di nuovi esercizi commerciali (anche attività di artigianato artistico) con conseguenti vantaggi sulla occupazione e con una valorizzazione del patrimonio immobiliare.
5) Appronteremo una politica che tenga in considerazione l’indotto di EXPO 2015, attraverso interventi che puntino alla realizzazione sul nostro territorio di strutture ricettive come Bed & Breakfast ed Agriturismi (con recupero di strutture abitative Unused or semi-abandoned).
