The European Commission has created a new LIFE Focus publication focuses on the co-LIFE program and local and regional. The new publication entitled LIFE and Local Authorities: Municipalities Helping regions and tackle Environmental Challenges highlights the most successful projects in which local and regional participants - among many is also mentioned the CHAMP project.
Furthermore, introducing the policy challenges faced by local and regional authorities and how LIFE can be their help, the publication provides a fairly comprehensive sample of case studies and examples of good practice in several areas, including the change climate, sustainable transport, water management and waste.
